This is up to the brewery upcycling the grain bags. It could be decided amongst staff or they may put a call out on socials to get suggestions from their fans.
This initiative is brand spanking new, so time will tell. The hope is that any brewery not using an on-site grain silo will try to divert some - if not all - of their grain bags to a local craftsperson then pass some do-re-mi to a regional charity.
Grain Bag Good is simply an initiative, not a charity or trust & doesn't profit from other breweries or their upcycled sales. Grain Bag Good was organised by Aliment Brewing in Riwaka which pays for the GBG domain & the email address you see at the footer of each page on this website. It was created only to get a free pattern out to other small breweries trying to make beer & make a little bit of a difference.
